Blueprint owners and senior management are actively engaged in the vibrant community of Paris, Ontario. Some of the activities that they have been engaged in are as follows:
Blueprint is taking steps to decrease our environmental footprint. We have been inspired by the CERES principles; a 10 point code of corporate environmental conduct issued by the Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies, to work towards better environmental practices.
The Blueprint owners are avid fans of old artifacts to turn into usable office items. When the new office was constructed, doors from an historic building in Paris were refinished and are utilized in the new office space as a unique reference to past and present.
Blueprint takes its unusable electronic products that have bit the dust and brings them to a local electronic recycling company. Proceeds from the recycling are used to fund youth programs in the local community.
We are being smart about paper usage by not printing every email and using blue box recycling.
Office lights and gadgets are switched off when not in use and we use energy efficient bulbs where appropriate. We also incorporate a timed thermostat.
We have a recycling box at each desk to make it easy to recycle paper and plastics.
Blueprint is a community-based agency that prides itself on partnering with small start-ups. We have often carried out service trades where website work is provided in exchange for services. This recently took the shape of office painting work in exchange for work on a website.
Are donated to local volunteer groups, sports clubs and charities.
