Modern Sales Co-op serves the automotive industry across Canada, providing its members with a wide range of products, and offering its vendors opportunities unavailable anywhere else in Canada. Modern Sales has been in business for over 80 years, and now has warehouses in Langley, Calgary, Winnipeg, and Barrie.
In 2015 Blueprint was tasked with a complete overhaul of their Member’s Extranet, a web portal that keeps the members and the Modern Sales Co-op head office connected. This information resource center and the associated business tools were created and designed to provide a secure and reliable collaboration and communication medium for the entire Modern Sales Co-op member community. The Extranet offers members a wide variety of information and ways to connect, including: a discussion forum, bulletins, news, catalog, pricing, events calendar and a host of other functionality.
The Modern Sales ExtraNet is integrated with their Epicor ERP and reporting systems to authorize returns based on their very specific rules. Other integrations include Estimated Time of Arrival for items on order with Vendors (based on past performance of that particular Vendor).
Blueprint continues to work closely with the internal IT department to maintain and update these systems, providing their members and vendors a secure, easy-to-use and effective platform to diversify and grow in a challenging marketplace. View more of our work with Modern Sales here.
